The Institute for Theoretical Physics at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen invites applications for an Postdoc position (f/m/d)
- TV-L E 13 – (100 %, 39.8 h/week)

The position is embedded in the group of Prof. Laura Covi, PhD and is offered as a fixed term contract for three years with the possibility for the extension for another year, starting from the 1st October 2022.

The successful applicants should have a PhD in theoretical particle physics or theoretical particle cosmology, at least two years post-doc experience and an excellent research record in the fields of Dark Matter, Beyond the Standard Model phenomenology or/and Inflation. Preference will be given to candidates with broad interests in the interplay between particle physics and cosmology and active both in model building and phenomenology. Collaborations with the groups of Prof. S. Schumann in particle physics phenomenology at ITP and of Prof. Jens Niemeyer in cosmology at the Institute for Astrophysics are encouraged. The position entails some teaching duties.
