The DUNE group at the Laboratoire Astroparticule et Cosmologie (APC) in Paris, France, is receiving applications for a 2-year postdoctoral position. The position will develop in the frame of the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE), an international collaboration with more than a thousand members and more than 30 countries involved. The project is hosted at Fermilab and has a strong collaboration with CERN. France is heavily involved, with researchers from APC, LPSC, IJCLab, LAPP, IPNL and CEA. The French DUNE collaboration has recently been awarded with a TGIR program (which stands for “very large research infrastructures”) form the French ministry of science with significant financial support.

The AstroParticle and Cosmology (APC) laboratory is a Joint Research Unit (UMR) created in 2005. The APC brings together around 75 permanent researchers, and around fifty engineers, technicians and administrative staff. Including non-permanent staff (doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, foreign visitors), some 200 people form this structure, managed in addition to the University of Paris (UP), by the CNRS (represented by three of its Institutes: mainly the 'IN2P3, but also INSU and INP), CEA (DSM / IRFU) and the Paris Observatory, and CNES.

Position: Post-doc "Improvement of track reconstruction algorithms and development of photon-detection instrumentation for DUNE future detector" (M/F)

The successful candidate will participate in both the analysis and hardware activities of the group, as well as in the installation and running of the prototypes at CERN.
