Fixed-term Junior Professorship (W1) at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at KIT.

We would like to announce an opening for a fixed-term Junior Professorship (W1) at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at KIT.

 

The junior professorship is embedded in the research and teaching activities of the Institute for Theoretical Physics (ITP) and the Department of Physics. The junior professor will work in the field of collider physics, precision calculations, computer algebra, or modern methods for the calculation of scattering amplitudes. The successful applicant is expected to participate in the Collaborative Research Center “Particle Physics Phenomenology after the Higgs Discovery (P3H)”. They are expected to contribute to teaching in the field of theoretical physics (BSc/MSc) and to supervise students and doctoral researchers.
